Taft Invited Professor for the department of Romance Languages of the University of Cincinnati, Floriano Martins (Fortaleza, 1957)is a poet, editor, essayist, translator, lyricist, visual artist and one of the most important researchers of surrealism and Spanish poetry in Brazil. He has published several books, which include poetry, essays, translations and collections.
