Dr. David W Moore, Senior Fellow of the Carsey Institute of the University of New Hampshire and author of The opinion Makers, gives the lecture: How Public Polls Undermine Democracy.

issues of public policy such as health care reform and ''cap and trade legislation"
often undermine the democratic process in American politics and society.
